Patrick J. McDonnell is the Chief Executive Officer of Valley Telephone Cooperative, Inc. (VTCI), a leading broadband service provider. With over 23 years of experience in telecommunications and 41 years in engineering and operations, Patrick has a proven track record of leadership in various roles, including General Manager, Director, President, and COO. His tenure at VTCI has been marked by significant achievements, including directing nearly 500 miles of additional fiber build throughout the VTCI and VTXC areas and strengthening financial management of the coop. Patrick reports directly to the Board of Directors of Valley Telephone Cooperative, Inc.

He holds a Master of Business Administration from Bellevue University, a Bachelor of Science from Auburn University at Montgomery, and has completed an Executive Leadership Program at Emory University. Patrick also holds General Contractor Licenses in five states and serves as a board member for the RGV Partnership which acts as the regional chamber for the 4 counties in the Rio Grande Valley. Patrick currently resides in Harlingen TX.
