Years of planning and community collaboration came together at the ribbon cutting for the Willacy County Heritage and Wellness Center.
Judge Aurelio “Keter” Guerra Jr. reflected on the many individuals whose ideas shaped the project. Driven in part by the limitations exposed during COVID-19, the judge and county commissioners recognized the need to strengthen Willacy County’s readiness for future crises.
